Baby Massage and Me

I have four grown up children all of whom we massaged as babies. We loved it and it has continued to enrich our family life - still does.

I trained as an Infant Massage Instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) in 2006.

The IAIM operates in more than 30 countries around the world and aims “to promote nurturing touch and communication through training, education and research so that parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued and respected throughout the world community”

I run classes in different venues in and around Leicester and also sessions for individuals or groups of friends in their own homes or mine.

Aromatherapy and Massage

I have an aromatherapy and massage practice and specialise in full body massage for relaxation and stress control. I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)

I also teach school groups on an exciting and innovative education programme at the University of Leicester Botanic garden

Massage in Schools

This is a daily programme of clothed peer massage for primary schools.  Research has shown it can reduce bullying, and improve self esteem, relationships in the class and overall behaviour, as well as creating a calm atmosphere for learning. I am a trained instructor with the Massage in Schools Association.

"You can put a price on a cot or a pram but baby massage is priceless!  Some baby things we’ve never used, some just a few times, but we’ve used baby massage more than we’ve used the baby bath!"
